Your Prayers Needed

Just thought I'd send out a request for prayer tonight. I am speaking at my home church, the church I grew up in. I attended this church basically from the time I was born until I got married and moved to Indiana 15 years ago. I was married in this church. I was baptized in this church. I sang in children's choir in this church. I attended Vacation Bible School every summer in this church where I drank red Kool-Aid and ate butter cookies with the holes in them (you know the ones you put your finger through) and tried to out sing the boys on Hallelujah, Praise Ye the Lord. Anyone else remember those days? Some of the ladies who will be there have known me my entire life.
Nothing like a little pressure right? Anyway, prayers would be much appreciated.

And, I'm taking my kids to the splash pad today. I'll hopefully post pictures tomorrow so you can see what a splash pad is.

Have a great day!

Praying God will fill you and give you just the words you need.

And I cracked up at your description of VBS! Sounded just like mine!

Lord, wash over Amy with Your Spirit. May she hide behind Your cross where You are more visible, where Your words come easily to her, where Your Spirit calms the roughest seas and the most tense nerves. Remind her of your promises in Jer. 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Let her drink in this wonderful opportunity to give back to those who so lovingly gave to her...through Your words and Her smile. Amen

Psalm 119:130
The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

I hate I didn't make it by earlier to know you were requesting prayer. SOOOOO.....since you are probably done speaking now, I will pray that the words God spoke through you will work mightily in the hearts of all who heard!

You are a blessing!
